*DIES LAUGHING*
The memorial for Dana's mom was held at Mnetal health on Thursday and it was very nice
Dana got the storage place payed off for another month and we'll be keeping that until we can weed through everything
Dana and I went up to the city on Friday and it only took us roughly ten to fifteen minutes to not only get her birth certificate but her mother's as well. We then went back down to Norman, grabbed lunch, went to the lawyer, got the $50 letter that would grant us access to the apartment, went home and crashed before we got picked up by dad for Brandy's birthday party at the house ^___^
Went into work Saturday to not only find the schedule was up, but I didn't get the two days I had asked off for to help Dana moved stuff out of her mother's other apartment. Surprised at first, I simply thought that I could just trade out some times with some of my other co-workers...until I looked over the paper and I could not see anyone who could open for me on Thursday. I was devistated, and it showed as I literally tried to talk to Missy about it. After a short burst of tears and explainging the situation, I got this Thursday and Friday off...and I felt guilty as shit for it until we opened because I have NEVER cried to get my way about anything and it made me feel very dirty *shudders*
Dana swung by Chapel Ridge on her way to work Saturday...they were closed
Dana swug by those apartments again on her way to work today, they were open AND they accepted the lawyer's letter *confetti*
I called UHaul and I have booked us a 14ft truck for pick up on Thursday morning and estimated return of 3pm on Friday ^_^
But I booked the truck for like 7am on Thursday and neither one of us owns a car, I'm thinking of fixing the time for like 9am *fidgets*
All help will be appreciated for Thursday, July 2nd (help us, PLEASE!)

For those NOT in the know...
Dana's mother died last week early Tuesday morning.
She was in the middle of moving from Nobel to Norman when she broke her leg at the UHaul store
She was taken to the hospital where they fixed her leg and then she was transferred to a nursing home for physical therapy.
She had been staying at Cedar Creek on 24th when she died, most likely from kidney failure
As far as we know, Margarette didn't make any plans so Dana had her cremated on the premise of holding services at a later date once all her family and friends have been notified.
Now here's the bad news!
Because Dana wasn't listed on the leasing papers, Chapel Ridge won't let her into the apartment without a court order
And they can't rent out the apartment until it has been cleared out *le groan*
After two weeks of running around and trying to get help with this issue, Dana and I finally found a lawyer on Thursday who said that we didn't need to get a $5000 probate just to haul out a bunch of junk. All we needed was Dana's original birth certificate and we can get a $50 lawyer's latter that states "Dana is the heir apparent, let her in or else"
The other piece of good news is that the apartments she was moving out of in Nobel was nice enough to hold the rest of her "things" until we could get down there. They told Dana "Oh yeah, just a couple of boxes and some Knick Knacks"
. . .
DID THE BLOODY FREAKIN' DEFINITION OF KNICK KNACKS CHANGE WHEN MARAGRETTE DIE? Because all we saw in there was a bunch of junk lying around in all of the rooms!
Amber from work took us down to ParkSide Apartments and the place looked a bomb had gone off! There was papers everywhere, nothing was really organized to be moved, the electrcitiy was off so it was hot and there was bugs running around everywhere because FOOD HAD BEEN LEFT BEHIND! *ugh* I lost count of how many times i said "oh my god" while we were sorting out what to take and what to leave for the vultures *shudders* Thankfully, ParkSide wasn't going to force Dana to finish cleaing out the place and they said they would donate what ever we left behind (big wheew!)
Another piece of good news is that all of the expensises have been paid off at Haven Brooke and Maragrette was successfully creamted AND given to us. She's currently sitting up on the book shelf nest to her mother (who has YET to be personally transported down to Muskogee for burial. No UPS for MeMaw *shakes head firmly*)
The only other and last piece of news is that Mental Health will be holding a memorial for Maragrette this Thursday at noon. I got the day off to join Dana. We're not pressuring anyone to join us but it be great if you could send her your support either through here in LJ or on her cell phone.
Thank guys and we hope to hear back from ya'll

I recently found out some douche bags at Amazon have been messing around with the GLSTB content material at the Amazon site n the grounds of "weeding out the too adult stuff to protect the children.": BULL!
You can read the whole story about it here in this article - http://rosalarian.livejournal.com/25309 6.html?view=2466216#t2466216
In the same note, at the end of the article is a petition you can sign at the end of the article
I tried several times to sign said petiton but the stupid site kept saying that my zip code was wrong *spazes*

Yes, I'm still alive. And so is Dana...and as far as I know, so is Tina ^_^
Dana and I are going to A-Kon this year. Once I get paid around the 20th, I'm going to get our con passes and we're going to take the train down. We're going to take the Flyer down to Fort Worth and then catch the TRE over to Dallas. Only prob with this is that the TRE doesn't run on Sundays. Thank god Anya said she'd give Dana and I a ride if we couldn't one on our own on Sunday back to Fort Worth. The bonus to taking the train is that we'll be getting there in the afternoon, so we've been given the good ahead to pick up room keys ^_^
Other than take our boy Dolfies, Dana and I are still trying to figure out our Cosplay for the weekend *le sigh*

I've finally getting my stories self published through Lulu ^_^
I've got three/four books published so far under two different pen names, AJAngelique and Sapphire Sophilia. Why? Because Sapphire Sophilia deals maibnly with yaoi/yuri and my grandparenrts in New York with pitch a holy fit if they ever found I wrote gay/lesbian stories, in addititon to the fact that my grandfather might end up back in the hospital with heart problems *chews bottom lip*
What I have published so far is...
Ashes to Ashes ... AJAngelique - http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback_b ook/ashes_to_ashes/6279199

it was mind numblingly slow tonight at work *le sigh*
the only highlihgts was when muriel and loren came in to visit us
Miruel showed up first with her firend and jordan hanged out with them
and then just moments after muriel left, loren showed up with her friend...
her...HAWT...female friend *groans*
her name is Lizzie, she's about Dana's height with flawless caukcasion skin. i guess chestnut colored hair that was curled on the ends, glasses similar to carol ann's and she was wearing this blue plaid flanel top that was buttoned down pretty low and a silver star of david necklace. poor grl got hit on by a drunk cowboy at hastings...and i could see why *tries not to drool*
and i acted like a such a perv/idiot! instead of simply asking, i looked down her shirt a ouple times to see what was on her necklace and i was trying my best not stare at her and not to grin *ugh* at least i wasn't only one hangin out with them, jordan and chris were with us at the register as loren and lizze ate their cookies and lizze recanted her horrible experience with the obviously drunk cowboy. *poor girl*
drunk cowboy: do you go to the univeristy of oklahoma *with obvious accent*
lizze: no
D.C.: Do you work in the oil fields?
L: Yes, but I'm still in high school
D.C.: Oh, well I can't handle that *turns and leaves*
omg that poor girl *weeps*

kakashi and gai piggyback ride, THE FULL SCENES!!
Didn't realize it untill today that I've been collecting Ambers for the past nine years
First there's my sister Amber, whom we all call Anya
Then there's our friend Amber, whom we all call Kohaku
THEN there's my former manager Amber, who transfered to the Moore store and I call her Amberland
Finally, there's Dan's girlfriend Amber who's now working full time with us.
If I get another Amber, I'm renaming the last one Hello Amber because she loves Hello Kitty ^_^

1. Not only get published, but actually sell some books
2. Give up dark colas
3. Lose some weight and possibly get back to the 170s

First off, I'd like to shared this just as awesome as the first, Charlie the Unicorn 2 movie
Second, Hot Topic is now carrying *ba ba BUM* Charlie the Unicorn clothes ^_^
After like...two years *groans* finally got an exam last month and got my new glasses last week, but this is my first time showing them off to everybody...

I'm SO happy with my new glasses, I can actually SEE things again. It was definitely time for an exam and new glasses cuz things were kinda blurry even with the glasses on and I was getting a rash of migraines *deep frown*
Went to a different doctor this time and she says that I'm pretty healthy and that the astigmatism that started in one eye has gone into both eyes (hence, the need for new glasses)
Now, here arises the problem. I can't cosplay without my glasses.
Whenever I take off my glasses (or simply look over them, which was a bad habit from the old pair) everything gets slightly blurry and I can't read anything to save my own life. I think I can walk around without them and stuff like I did before and the only worry I have about wearing them while cosplaying is being ripped on by character purists.

Today was half good AND half bad.
Today was Dan's first day as Saturday manager and when he got with all his stuff, he set up the lobby and the bakerycase for me. This made me happy cuz I could take my time and not rush through setting up front line and decoarting/stashing the cookies form the morning bake. Unfortuantly,. I took a little too much time on this and I didn't get to the dishes until well after the lunch rush.
When I first came in, we had two registers down. The driver through register (#3) and bakery case register (#2)
Our registers are the touch screen registers that run on computers.
Register 2 was just flat out wiggin out and the cussor would stay at least an inch away from your finger and refused to type. After calling it into John and stuff, Dan was actually able to fix that one himself by hitting reset and it was working just fine.
Register 3 was just plain out and the screen was reading can't find file server. We started out taking orders on pieces of paper, run them over to register 2 where we would take the order and the person's monies. And yes, we did put a sign up saying that the register was down and asked people to be patient. Some people were, others took one look at the sign and came inside.
The guy who came to fix the register looked a lot like my uncle Roger. He came in during our noon rush. flipped up the case under the screen and found that the problem was a loose wire. He reconnected the wire, told Dan what the problem was and left. Once Dan assigned and put the money in the register, everything ran much smoother.
Since I was staying till five, I opted to take my lunch break cuz I thought that most of the people were leaving at three...nope, a quarter of our staff left at two and just as I'm about to go eat we get a small line in frive through. I set my food off to the side and start to take care of sandwhiches when Dan shoes me away and tells me to go eat.
Once I've got food in my stomach, I go to finally take care of dishes and things are starting to get really slow at this point.
Around three, Ashley comes in and Dan leaves with his girlfriend. Jessica shows up like half an hour ealry for her four o' clock shift which is awesome cux five to six orders all come in at that time.
Well, remember register 2?
Last night, Ashley unplugged the register in an attempt to plug in some Christmas lights. When she did this, the register went down.
Ashley called the maintence people and THEY said it wasn't her fault, that it was the system, it blew a fues and they'd be in on TUESDAY to fix it. When Ashely called John and told him what happened, he blew a gasket. He isulted her seven ways to hell and back and balmed HER for the "broken" register. Ashley was very insulted by being berated like that and has told us she's putting in her two week notice *heavy groan*
And to top it off, John's only scheduled THREE closers for tomorrow. AGAIN!
He did this last week too, which sucked because it was the last day of the month and thus inventory day *groans*
Joh sucks at scheduleing! I miss Amber!
